To deliver functional matrimonial matchmaking, we process your personal data under the lawful basis of explicit consent. You have the right to withdraw this consent at any time.

A. Mandatory Identity & Verification Data (Required for Profiling):

• Full Name & Gender: To establish core user identity and process matching algorithms.
• Marital Status: To enforce matrimonial-only filtering and restrict casual dating.
• Date of Birth: To verify Minimum age 18.
• Government-Issued Photo ID (Aadhaar/Passport/Voter ID): Processed strictly to verify profile authenticity in compliance with the Government Intermediary Advisory.

B. Optional Voluntarily-Published Data (User Discretion):

• Personal & Astro Metadata: Time/place of birth, height, weight, blood group, Rashi, Manglik status, and horoscopes.
• Contact Information: Mobile number, email address, preferred contact channel (WhatsApp, Phone, Email, Chat), and profile creator relationship (Self, Parent, Sibling).
• Education & Career: Highest qualification, occupation, industry, employer details, and annual income.
• Family & Lifestyle: Family structure, family values, dietary habits, and personal interests.

C. Interactive Media & Communication Logs:

• Profile Images: Processed via secure photo data structures to display on your profile.
• Real-Time Chat Histories: Contains sender identity data, text parameters, timestamps, and read metrics to deliver platform communication utilities.

2. Device Permissions & System Access

To execute dynamic profile building and media caching, the application requests access to the following device runtime subsystems:

• Media Access (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES / READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): Required to select and upload profile images.
• Network Connectivity (INTERNET / ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE): Required to sync data with secure Firebase and cloud environments.

3. Data Processing Infrastructure & Third-Party Fiduciaries

We do not sell, trade, or lease your personal data. Data is shared strictly with infrastructure sub-processors essential to operating the app:

• Google Firebase & Cloud Storage: Hosts cloud databases, real-time messaging, and profile asset streaming.
• Google Play Billing API (com.android.vending.BILLING): Manages secure premium tiers. No financial records, UPI pins, or card details are seen or saved on our servers.

4. Statutory 365-Day Log Retention Policy

Active Accounts: Your data is preserved for as long as your account remains active on our application.

Legal Retention Mandate: In compliance with India's Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules, your access logs, IP addresses, device identifiers, and communication timestamps will be securely archived for exactly one year (365 days) post account deletion to assist law enforcement agencies in cases of identity theft or financial fraud.

5. Rights of the Data Principal (Your DPDP Rights)

Under Indian privacy laws, you possess enforceable rights regarding your personal data:

• Right to Access & Summary: You can request a summary of your personal data being processed.
• Right to Correction & Erasure: You can update inaccurate data or trigger an account purge instantly via our in-app Data Deletion Portal or by emailing hpk.developer@gmail.com.
• Right to Withdraw Consent: You can revoke your data-sharing consent at any time, which will result in the immediate closure of your profile.
• Right to Nominate: You can nominate an individual to act on your behalf regarding your data rights in the event of death or incapacity.

6. Security Infrastructure & Image Protection

Data Protection: We employ AES-256 bit encryption for resting databases and SSL/TLS pipelines for all network transfers.

7. Age Restriction Notice

This platform is strictly restricted to adults of legal age. We do not knowingly collect or index profiles of individuals under 18 years of age. Any profile discovered violating this threshold will be permanently purged without notice.

8. Statutory Grievance Redressal Mechanism

In accordance with Section 5(2)(c) of the DPDP Act and the IT Intermediary Rules, any grievances, data disputes, or reports of profile fraud must be addressed to our dedicated officer:

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of India, specifically the IT Act, 2000, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act. Any disputes arising under this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located at Pune, Maharashtra, India.
